Adam Jacobs serves as the Energy Manager for the City of Boston. He works with all stakeholders in municipal government including - budget, facilities/operations, capital construction, and environment teams to help Boston achieve the goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. Adam has a background in environmental analysis, economics and energy engineering. Before joining the City of Boston Environment Department, Adam worked in the Washington DC-area as an energy analyst for Johnson Controls and served as a part-time media consultant for the American Wind Energy Association. Adam has a bachelors degree from Boston University and a masters degree from Northeastern University.
