Bill Davidson is a seasoned industry expert and has held numerous senior leadership positions. Currently Bill has responsibility for developing the energy upgrade business for the US for Armstrong Fluid Technology, a technological leading pump and control optimization company.

Previously Bill lead the National Accounts team for Daikin Applied where he led a change management process that grew that business at 25% CAGR over 4 years to a 250M dollar business.

As a senior executive with extensive experience running global organizations and a well-respected thought leader, Bill is skilled at developing strategic direction and at implementing operational improvements to profitably grow businesses.

Before his role at Daikin Applied, Bill was the Vice President of Global Services Business Development for the Climate Solutions sector of Ingersoll Rand. As part of the senior leadership team Bill had responsibility for developing and driving growth strategy and implementation for the $2B Trane Global services business.

Prior to his global responsibilities, Bill served as Vice President of Comprehensive Solutions for Trane Commercial Systems Europe, Middle East, Africa and India Region (EMAIR) living in Brussels with a focus on developing infrastructure, staffing and development of the owner direct contracting business.

Before his European role, Bill served as Trane’s Comprehensive Solutions Business Development Leader for the North American region. In this role, Bill’s organization was instrumental in developing solution offers and programs to drive dramatic growth in the contracting sector. Bill led a business development team focused on growing owner direct consultative sales and sales management effectiveness for the existing building contracting business.

Earlier in his career, Bill was well known as an energy services and complex solutions expert serving in sales and sales management roles. Personally, delivering over 150 million dollars’ in projects and services while delivering over 500 million in energy and operational cost savings. Mr. Davidson has demonstrated a deep understanding and knowledge of the C suite, complex and comprehensive solutions business.


Mr. Davidson earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree from SD School of Mines & Technology. He is a member of AEE, ASHRAE and past board member for National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) and The Energy Services Coalition (ESC). He was elected and served as a city council member during the transition from a commission to council-based form of government in Brookings, SD, playing a key role in developing governance infrastructure, policy and strategy for the community. Bill currently serves as a board of trustee member of the Brookings Health System.

Mark Gallagher

Armstrong Fluid Technology

Mark has spent over 25 years in various roles spanning building systems and energy markets.


In 2012, he joined Armstrong Fluid Technology to help develop and expand services for Armstrong’s global base of customers; including the lead role in the development of Armstrong’s suite of pumps with enhanced intelligence and embedded connectivity.   Most recently as Director of Business Development his focus has been on introducing Active Performance Management services utilising the combination of embedded and cloud based analytics.


Prior to joining Armstrong, Mark was Director of Operations, Canada for Direct Energy.  Previously he held senior roles in the utility and consulting industries.
He has been a frequent speaker on energy management, innovation and energy markets.


A member of ASHRAE, Mark holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and a BA from York University.
